Local people, working for our community.
Murrayside Community Centre is run by people who live and work right here in south-east Ipswich.
We’re directors, volunteers, coaches, youth workers, mentors, café hosts and community members - all with one shared goal: to make this centre a welcoming, supportive place for everyone.
Our Directors
Our three directors have always lived, worked and volunteered in the local area. Between them, they’ve helped run clubs, youth programmes and community projects across Ipswich. They bring experience in community development, business and local government - but most importantly, they care about this neighbourhood.
Our Volunteers
We couldn’t do it without our volunteers. From helping in the café and leading classes to supporting the workshop, youth clubs and events, they’re the heart of Murrayside. Many started out as participants and now share their time and skills to give back to others.
Our Partners
We work closely with local organisations — from schools and youth services to health providers, churches and community groups. Together, we can reach more people and keep our centre buzzing with opportunities.
